Visiting Friends

We were sad to see our friends move away this spring, lucky for us they only moved 3 hours away and not farther - yet!

Grandma Carl's Birthday

Earlier this summer we celebrated the 90th birthday of Erik's Grandma. We enjoyed a full day of family time, especially getting to spend time with Aunt Lindy who came in from Atlanta.

4th of July

I don't have much to say about the 4th, but I thought I would put up some pictures anyway. Like most weekends at the Lake we boated, tubed & hung out on the dock. Not to mention ate like pigs!

Now that I have completed 3 posts in one night, I am going to try and keep this updated more often!

Mini Vaca

Recently Erik was in Minneapolis for a week of meetings. I took a couple of days off towards the end of the week to meet him up there for an extended weekend. I of course went straight to the Mall of America when I got there & then back again the next day. We made a trip to Ikea which neither of us had ever been to before. It was a little overwhelming especially since we were just there to look. We did find a few decorative items for the house & some ideas to reorganize our/my closet! We went out to dinner at a restaurant called Lord Fletchers - so delish! I would highly recommend this place set on beautiful Lake Minnetonka. We also toured the old flour mill that is now Mill City Museum - totally up Erik's ally! I really enjoyed our short trip and hope it's not another 17 years before I make back to Minneapolis again.

Canada Fishing

Erik & his Dad went to Canda fishing for a week. They took the new boat & got along great. I think the 2 fish finders were a real help since Erik caught about 140 fish that week. He ended up not having any to bring home because the last day it rained like crazy & they didn't have any keepers. Oh well, our freezer is still full & there is another fishing trip planned for the end of July!

He's not trying to be sneaky - the face thing is sun protection, it just happens to come in fishy patterns! And I can't figure out how to rotate photos or atleast I'm not taking the to time right now!

Memorial Weekend Review

Friday we headed down to the Lake for some fun in the sun. What perfect weather we had, just right for all the tubing, laying out & hanging around we did with the fam! Here are some action pictures from the weekend & since Josh is the most active person I know he is in most of the pictures!
